Visiting Brian's Mother - Part 3

Sunday morning we went to church with Isobel. We were not expected to see Brian's uncle and aunt but it was really a nice treat. After church we all went to lunch together at Kelsey's Restaurant.

Before we went home, Brian suggested that we take a "Sunday drive" to see the countryside. The leaves were turning and quite beautiful. Of course there were moments when we stopped for a couple of photo shoots.

Can you believe she is 83?

When we came home, Mom wanted me to help her plant her tulip and daffodil bulbs in the garden that Brian had cleaned out. Teddi enjoyed the backyard with me. It was a gorgeous sunny afternoon and felt good to be outside.

Isobel asked if we liked Pizza for dinner. She said it would take 50 - 60 minutes. We asked, 'what kind of pizza is it that takes almost an hour...are you sure you read that correctly'? She came back and said, 'Yes, it says 50 - 60 minutes.' Later when dinner was ready, his mother said, 'oh, it wasn't pizza, it was lasagna'. We had a good laugh about that.

We are packing up a few things because we are planning to leave tomorrow and drive to Long Point to camp for a couple of nights. We have a home inspection for our new house coming up soon.
