Visiting Brian's Family

Brian and I went to the Casino Rama to celebrate his birthday. We didn't win anything but at least we kept playing a few slots for a couple of hours. That was fun. Then we went to dinner and played a couple of more slots and got home late last night.

Today Brian and I borrowed mom's car to drive to Barrie for breakfast with his sister. We ate at Cora's Restaurant Breakfast & Lunch, which we loved the food and experience but we had never heard of this place before. Ironically we looked online and discovered there is at least one in Calgary.

After breakfast, it was a trip to Costco to look for Miche covers but they didn't have anymore. After shopping we followed Susan to the Springwater Provincial Park, which is a year-round, day use, recreation class park located just outside the City of Barrie.

Susan planned this outing because her son, Ryan, was home from college and would be meeting us there along with her daughter, Shannon and husband, Murray. This was a great idea to take photos of all of us. Susan, like me, is into pictures and she is much better at scrapbooking than I am. Springwater park has trails and the Native Animal Display Trail houses live bears, wolves, owls and swans in the wildlife display areas. We enjoyed spending a couple of hours together as a family.
